CONTENT
The bill would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to provide that a vehicle registration that was issued by the Secretary of State for a motorcycle would expire on the owner's birthday, rather than on March 31, beginning February 1, 2005.
The bill also would delete a provision requiring a tax of one-half the rate otherwise imposed by the Code to be collected for all motorcycles registered after September 30 for the period ending on March 31.
