SENATE SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 4336

                                                                             A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled                                             

"The Michigan penal code,"                                                  

by amending section 447 (MCL 750.447).                                      

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1       Sec. 447.   Inapplicability of chapter--The provisions of                   

2   this This chapter  shall does not apply to any  boxing,                   

3   sparring or wrestling matches,  contests or exhibitions  ,

4   conducted, held, or given pursuant to the provisions of  Act                

5   No. 328 of the Public Acts of 1919, as amended, being sections              

6   8839 to 8859, inclusive, of the Compiled Laws of 1929, and acts             

7   amendatory thereof the Michigan boxing regulatory act.                     

8       Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act takes effect 90                    

9   days after the date it is enacted.                                          

10      Enacting section 2.  This amendatory act does not take                      

11  effect unless House Bill No. 4335 of the 92nd Legislature is                

1   enacted into law.
